Hace ya tiempo que se vende “do it yourself “ por ahí.
Hace ya tiempo se tiñen de auténtico estética, fama y lucir.
Olvidando que teníamos que aportar algo más, que si no construimos los medios para que exista, se muere poco a poco, se pierde su esencia, se vacía de contenido.
Y no hablo de las letras, hablo de la manera de hacer las cosas y lo que eso conlleva.
¿Saben lxs que te idolatrizan en tus conciertos quién eres tú? Solo unx más.
¿Sabe el dueñx de la sala donde vas a tocar el significado del punk?
Aún hay gente que busca alternativas al margen de lo comercial.
Desfavoreciendo al poder para que no lo pueda asimilar.
Comercializándolo como un producto más, una nueva moda para gente rebelde.
Que escucha música rara pero que el resto les da igual, una sutil forma de domesticar.


KILL IT YOURSELF
Long since it´s sold "do it yourself" out there.
Long since stained authentic aesthetics, fame and look.
Forgetting that we had to bring something more, if we don’t build the means to exist, slowly dies, its essence is lost, and gets empty of content.
And I don´t talk about the lyrics, I talk about how to do things and what that entails.
Does those who idolize you really knows who you are? Just one more.
Does the owner of the pub you´re playing in the meaning of punk?
There´s still people looking for alternatives outside the commercial.
Disfavoring the power that it can´t assimilate it.
Marketing it as a product, a new fad for rebellious people.
That listen to weird music but doesn´t care about anything else, a subtle way to tame.
